Secretary Windsor invites students, representing recipients of both Signers' Awards and Honorable Mention Awards, to participate in the Awards' Ceremony on December 6. Saturday, December 6, 10:00 a.m. - Secretary Windsor honors student and teacher participants of the 2008 Fourth Grade Delaware Day Competition at an Awards' Ceremony at the Delaware Public Archives (beside Legislative Hall) in Dover. Top projects receive awards named in honor of Delaware signers: Richard Bassett; Gunning Bedford, Jr.; Jacob Broom; John Dickinson; and George Read. Quality projects receive honorable mention awards. Secretary Windsor selects students, representing award winners in both categories, to share responses to her questions at this special awards ceremony.
