Wednesday, September 17, 1:30 p.m. - Secretary Windsor announces her Seventh Annual Fourth Grade Delaware Day Competition at Booker T. Washington Elementary School in Dover. Secretary Windsor is among the invited guests joining students as they celebrate Constitution Day.

Thursday, September 18 - Registration opens for the Delaware Day Competition

Saturday, October 4, 10:00 a.m. - Governor's Fall Festival at Woodburn

Friday, October 10, (TBA) - Dover H.S. Homecoming parade

Friday, October 15 - Registration closes for the Delaware Day Competition

Wednesday, October 18 - Delaware State University Homecoming Parade

Friday, October 20 - 24 - Delaware Day Competition judging schedules sent to schools

Wednesday, October 22, 6:30 p.m. - Milford Community Parade

Saturday, October 25, 10:00 a.m. - Sea Witch Parade in Rehoboth

Saturday, October 26, 3 p.m. - Newark Halloween Parade

Saturday, November 1, 10:00 a.m. - Delaware Book Festival

Thursday, November 6, 1:30 p.m. - Return Day Parade

Wednesday, November 26 - Delaware Day Competition schools notified of competition results. Secretary Windsor invites students, representing recipients of both Signers' Awards and Honorable Mention Awards, to participate in the Awards' Ceremony on December 6.

Saturday, December 6, 10:00 a.m. - Secretary Windsor honors student and teacher participants of the 2008 Fourth Grade Delaware Day Competition at an Awards' Ceremony at the Delaware Public Archives (beside Legislative Hall) in Dover. Top projects receive awards named in honor of Delaware signers: Richard Bassett; Gunning Bedford, Jr.; Jacob Broom; John Dickinson; and George Read. Quality projects receive honorable mention awards. Secretary Windsor selects students, representing award winners in both categories, to share responses to her questions at this special awards ceremony.
